Cosplay has emerged as a powerful brand-building tool, especially in creative and tech-forward markets like Kolkata, West Bengal, Ranchi, Bangalore, and Mumbai, where youth culture, gaming, anime, and pop fandom are rapidly growing. By using cosplay for branding, companies can create high-impact visual storytelling, turning brand mascots, original IPs, or campaign characters into live, shareable experiences that instantly attract attention at events, malls, IT expos, and digital platforms. Cosplay-driven branding boosts organic social media reach, improves global visibility, and builds strong emotional recall by engaging audiences face-to-face rather than through passive advertising. For brands in Bengal and metro cities like Bangalore and Mumbai, cosplay helps differentiate from competitors, humanize the brand, and connect deeply with Gen Z and millennial audiences—making it a cost-effective, immersive, and memorable strategy for long-term brand equity.Finishing, detail shots, and on-body tests — the same minimal black canvas as our gallery page.
In 2015, Virtualinfocom created history by conceptualizing and executing West Bengal’s first-ever cosplay show, hosted at the iconic ITC Sonar, in joint collaboration with PRSI Kolkata.
What made the event truly groundbreaking was the debut of Virtualinfocom’s own original superheroes, brought to life by real models rather than fictional illustrations or imported characters. These models didn’t just walk the ramp—they performed as full-fledged cosplayers, embodying unique character backstories, costumes, and personas designed in-house by Virtualinfocom. The show marked a bold fusion of technology, pop culture, and live performance, setting a new benchmark for experiential events in Eastern India and establishing cosplay as a serious creative and cultural movement in the region.
